ok, so in case a question of "oh man, what did they do now?" came into your mind, rest easy. We're happy to announce that we've purchase a house! a whole entire house! i mostly did the negotiating and such all week while richard was away in the field. i hadn't spoken to him since monday morning at 5:00am when he told me to put our offer up. I kissed him and he left.
So i called the realtor and everything was put in place, there were a couple counter offers but in the end we got a good price. so all this time i was dealing with this excitement by myself.
Friday afternoon richard calls me for a ride around 3:45 and so i pack decklan up and leave to go get him. he loads his kit into the car and gets in. i ask how his week was and if he had fun. the weather was good so it wasn't too bad. he asks me what i did this week. i say...well hun, I spent 300,000 dollars while you were away. so he looks at me with a weird look and then says, "so we got the house"?? on saturday we had our home inspection which went really well, we had a really good guy and he was really thorough. After all this happens we talk with our realtor and there are some repairs that will need to be completed and so we're asking for a lower price. we wanted at least 1500...he calls us later in the evening and informs us that he's managed to bring them down 3000!!!! We're happppy!!!! A beautiful house, well
built and well maintained. We get to keep the appliances in the kitchen as well. We can't wait to move in, which will be sooner than later!
