The Scholotiuks: ok ok ok

So by popular demand, i've decided i should probly post something new, since i was told that it's been a looong time since i posted last and it was unacceptable. Sorry.

we reaally haven't been doing much. Decklan is loooving school. Richard is kinda jealous because decklan is going to know more french than richard does pretty soon. I was rather impressed when i went to p/t interviews and his teacher gave him instruction in french, and he understood. I was surprised and so happy. It's going to be awesome, and he seems to really enjoy it. Keira is getting bigger every day! She most definitely is a girl! She is sneaky, and demanding but at the same time has everyone wrapped around her teeny tiny finger and knows it!

The kids loved trick or treating and actually got a decent haul! Richard has been spending some time "quality testing". Decklan was Darth vader and keira was Snow white...or princess as she calls it. in the end it was so cold it looked more like snow white ATE the seven dwarves since she had her snowsuit on. Only in canada!

Decklan is playing hockey now, he's in intiation 1 which is the very beginning. He has improved immensely since the beginning of the season. He pushes with both feet instead of just one and only falls mostly when they tell him to...unless of course he's waving at one of his many fans and falls flat on his butt...oh i can tell when those hurt! Nothing helps early morning hockey better than bailey's something i learned from my brother claude to be the best thing every and is perpetuated by my mother, since she's the one who brings it! it's a good thing she only comes to late practices cuz i would be in big trouble!

Richard is hard at work doing the regular stuff. he was away in october for a couple weeks in BC which was a nice change for him because normally they go to wainwright, and for everyone who's been there....there's nothing there! So it was a nice change for him. He even managed to get commended for some first aid he administered to someone who was injured after she ran over her own foot! MY HERO!! He is currently growing a disgusting moustache for Movember. I am SO beyond happy that there are only a few days left in this month. It is getting slightly less pokey, but it's still like kissing a wire brush...ouch!

i just got over being sick for about a week. I'm finally feeling back to normal. I've started bowling with my mom on tuesdays sort of as a replacement for my dad who injured his knee a couple weeks ago!

We are all looking forward to Christmas! I cannot wait! I plan on decorating this weekend (shhh don't tell richard!) Eggnog rum and decorating here i come! we have NOT even begun shopping yet, probably should get on that!

We also attended a couple of wonderful birthday celebrations this year. all three, Grandpa, Nana, and Gramma all turned 80 this year. They were both wonderful celebrations!
