so i suppose it's been a while since we posted anything. Decklan is doing great, walking like crazy and running when he knows he's in trouble. which is often enough. he's a good listener, 'cept when he doesn't wanna listen. he's still loving daycare, i notice now when i drop him off he goes to the other boys and then they all go off and play together, it's too cute. he also has those daycare folks wrapped around his tiny little finger. He arrives and if the radio isn't on he points to the stereo, claps his hands and points again. Someone walks over and turns it on. too funny. he's actually saying some real, well sort of, words these days. He says hot, and waves his hand in the air any time he sees a candle(whether it's lit or not doesn't matter) and also when he knows the stove is on. he says tan tu (thank you), which is usually followed by him giving you something, or turning off/on a lightswitch. We got to hang out with auntie laine and uncle blake and cousin colby the other day. Laine made a delicious dinner and someone showed decklan where the annoying play button was on one of the toys....he just kept playing it and playing it. oh well, easily amused.

Richard is doing great, he's coming home on friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can you tell I'm excited? he's pretty much done the course until after christmas when he returns for 2 weeks. We're both very excited for him to see decklan as all of the things he is doing now, he wasn't doing when richard left. walking, talking, doing stairs....things like that. He's very excited. ok...well hopefully it won't be so long till i post again.
